Welcome to the Forest Festival 2012

11 to 15 July

- For living forests and its people

A cultural and natural events in Tylöskog, South Orebro County, Sweden. Four days of concerts, exciting lectures and discussions, film, dance, poetry, nature tours and excursions and exciting workshops in arts, health and nature.

Panel discussion on forest and environmental policy´s.

The topics are: environmental, nature-conservation, climate, environmental activism, art, multi-use, natural forest management, forest history, eko-philosophy, and ecology, etc. There will be a packed program for adults and children.

Northern Europe's largest meeting place for non-profit nature-conservationists, forest activists, environmentalists and nature-oriented multiple users. On the festival's Facebook page: "Forest Festival 2012", you can follow how the program for the Forest Festival 2012 is created, new appointments of lecturers and artists, and find friends to carpooling to the festival with, etc.

Welcome to this year's manifestation for the protection of old-growth forest and a reform of forestry, from today clearcut and plantation forestry, to a nature-oriented forestry.

Volunteers needed!

We need volunteers who can work and build up the Festival and do practical chores during the Festival. When: Any time from July 1 to July 18.

The Festival will be held at the cottage place Åfallet, 9 km from the village Hjortkvarn in the south of Örebro County, Sweden.
