Biologist and Professor of Plant Ecology at Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall. Lives outside Sundsvall. Formerly a researcher from Umeå University and has worked primarily with forest history, forest dynamics and species associated with dead wood. Participated recently in an analysis of protection requirements in Swedish forest land, and is engaged in local, national, and international organizations with the aim to help improve the Swedish nature conservation in the forest.
