Teatermaskinen (the Theater Machine) will perform the forest people’s language throughout the festival weekend!

The forest people’s language builds a new culture, seeking knowledge of the human relationship to nature, and explores the conditions for a new theater and a new world. During the Forest Festival there will be a place where the forest people live.

As a visitor, be aware that your perception of reality and your language does not apply. The ownership and the time that you know do not apply. When you enter, you will put in your flesh and thus affect the forest people’s culture. Consequently, leave your colonization dreams at home, otherwise you might be in trouble. You are most welcome to bring gifts or questions but do not expect to them to be received.

The Forest people are interested in meeting people on their own stated terms. They also know how vulnerable they are in their culture since they have lived in yours. But what you enter is their place. You have to understand and surrender to the bear law.
